AVV. GIACOMO MATTO
Giacomo is an Employment and Business lawyer who advises domestic and international entities as well as Italian executives.
He regularly assists Italian and foreign companies and private clients with litigation procedures, drafting legal briefs and attending hearings and discussions before the Italian Labour Courts as well as with negotiating settlement agreements with counterparts.
He has over 10 years experience in managing and assisting clients with employment issues related to corporate transactions, such as the setting up of new production units, re-organisation, acquisition and closing-down/transfer of companies, mergers and de-mergers of Italian entities and redundancy procedures.
He also advises and assists Italian and foreign corporations with managing industrial relations with Italian Trade unions including the negotiation of collective shop bargaining agreements as well as the management of mandatory procedures and consultations within the framework of collective procedures.
He is active in the field of the training addressed to national and international companies (in Italy and in UK) linked to Labour Law issues, especially in organizing and preparing seminars, in which he has been speaker
Giacomo also provides practical advice in dealing with commercial agency matters.
He is author of several articles in labour law matters.
